How Did This Help Create Canada
All of these factors helped create Canada by separating Britain from the colonies. The colonies were forced to join together for defence purposes when Britain abandoned political control of the colonies because the Little Englanders convinced them to let the colonies go. The end of the Corn Laws meant there was increased economic trade between the colonies and Britain which created more jobs and income for the people in the colonies.
