SUMMARY
THe Trail of Tears was all about expanding American territory by forcing Native Americans to move westwrad. It also was the Native Americans who suffered most from Andrew Jacksson. In 1832 a group of about 1000 sac and fox indians that by Chief Hawk drove them across the Mississippi River. We were able to expand our land and find more places to settle. The cherokees ahd no claim over thier land and the army began to push them off thier landuntill they had none left.
